Kennel Manners Philosophy

We believe that dogs thrive in a structured environment and while we teach dogs that nothing is free, we also set them up for success. Our Kennel Manners Program provides dogs the knowledge of walking politely on a leash, taking treats gently, and sitting before each meal.

Inavale Kennel is a highly social kennel, meaning our guests spend a large amount of time with and around other dogs. Although they are always supervised in play groups we find it is best that our guests are dog friendly as well as spayed/neutered if they are older than one year. We have extremely limited availability for dogs who are unable to play, in a friendly manner, with other dogs. We also no longer accept new dogs who are "Intact" (not spayed or neutered).

We highly recommend taking a look at this video if you are new to boarding.

Required Forms

Here at Inavale we require all new dogs to come for a four hour Intake Assessment .  This is a four hour daycare session offered for free Monday thru Thursday. We find that this Intake Assessment not only helps your dog understand our daily routine, it also serves to help us get to know your dog and make sure our facility and staff is a good fit for you and your pet.  To schedule an Intake Assessment please give us a call at (541)-929-4482.
